The Shaft
In a mining town in western China, separately, we follow three members of a family. Each individual family members’ story flows from one to another chronologically, although they do not simply trace the continual development of a single family. Their lives are inextricably bound together as they symbolically represent the men and women from all mining towns who must accept their thwarted dreams and aspirations, and learn to accept their lot in life.

Travelling aboard a Greenpeace ship along the West Coast of Africa The Deadline unravels a multi-billion dollar pirate fishing scam. Hidden far out at sea and without surveillance, fish are caught by unhygienic unlicensed rusting trawlers using slave labor. Set within a high seas drama this catch is then smuggled back to port in official European Union boxes through the Canary Islands for Westerner's dinner plates with no one the wiser it has been stolen from the poorest people on the planet.

The Palace
The Palace was a British drama television series that aired on ITV in 2008. Produced by Company Pictures for the ITV network, it was created by Tom Grieves and follows a fictional British Royal Family in the aftermath of the death of King James III and the succession of his 24-year-old son, Richard IV, played by Rupert Evans. It also stars Jane Asher and Zoe Telford. The series was filmed on location in Lithuania in 2007 and broadcast from January to March 2008. It was axed after one series due to low viewing figures.
